Hi everyone. I am quite alive and well and coming out of a long slog through a new job and some life things happening. I’m gaining confidence in my game building again and have started to really get into the weeds with the Realms of Transformation 0.2.

So what’s going on?

First, improvements to what was already there have almost been completed. Just a few more minor tweaks. The biggest thing left is implementing a guidebook. The game is pretty linear and I’ve done my best to make sure you know where to go and what to do if you follow the dialogue, but a guidebook will very much come in handy if you’re ever lost or come back to the game after a long absence.

But that’s all under the hood stuff, if you played 0.1 already, then there isn’t much to tell since the story will remain largely the same. Let’s talk about 0.2.

The continent of Ralatia will be explored in this update and we’ll meet two new characters.

First is Aurora’s cousin, Rin, who has already been referenced. Short-stuff will be pivotal in getting that damn sword! More importantly having a member of the church may make moving around in this world easier (read: less back and forth, perhaps).

Even though she’s a member of the church, she may be a bit… unorthodox. She currently resides at “The Homestead” a retreat for members of the church to rest and reflect, yet she seems to not get along with the other nuns. I guess we’ll have to see what that’s about!

Next we have our shy and tall shop owner, Freya. She runs a weapons shop in the Town of Locke, the largest town in the Tricity area. Remember, the world Warren is “visiting” is quite peaceful and danger only comes for those who truly seek it out. In essence, business is bad for Freya. Plus she’s so shy, she probably has no business being in business!

What she lacks in confidence she makes up for in tactical knowledge and weapon information. Maybe adding her to the team would be quite fruitful.

Now let’s talk about our old friends.

Warren will continue his quest to figure out the world he’s in and perhaps wreak some havoc as he goes. Control and domination is the only option for someone like him.

Aurora will continue to fall deeper in…let’s say “love”…

Ami has something to prove to Warren, but will she end up being the same person at the end of that journey?

Tina is back by her lonesome once again. How will she pass the time?

What else?

Well… you can’t wreak all that havoc in a peaceful world and expect no recourse. The response will be coming soon and bring new characters and adventures with it.

Release date - I’m hoping for sooner, but I’m still working quite slow. I’m setting a goal for a release with brand new content by the end of August.
